I'm not particularly interested in reading the Greek myths....they are all action, with no character or plot development. However, being nothing but sex, violence, and rock 'n roll, they are great to illustrate. Since my style has been steadily evolving toward what I call Neo-Regionalism (Thomas Hart Benton with a more Pop-Art, cartoonish slant), these subjects are perfect to play with.....I can make them as muscular and energetic as I want, and incorporate any details, anachronistic or otherwise, for purposes that range from humor to mere decoration.

Hopefully, any given piece contains some small joke, some beauty, a little bit of story-telling and some solid artistic technique and composition. Not necessarily in that order.
